Almost 60% of students find at least half their lectures boring - with about 30% claiming to find most or all their lectures boring (]VIam1, 2009). Lecture can provide students with a 111eans of organizing and understanding vohuues of new concepts and provide context. However, very little was lean1ed fron1 teacher-centred instn1ction and a great deal was lean1ed fron1 students working together. Therefore, poe111s are authentic niaterial that due to their appealing structure, rhytluu and sound suggest a quick and e1􀀐joyable way of promoting creativity (Dzhukelov, 2014).
