Effectiveness of Online Jigsaw Classroom in the Civil Engineering Profession.

The COVID-19 pandemic has generated the greatest change of education system in human history. Teaching and learning are not always placed in the school or university anymore. The face-to-face interaction in the classroom has been replaced by the online class using web conferencing applications. During the most serious period in Thailand, the freshman students in the Department of Civil Engineering, Walailak University also studied their fundamental courses via the Webex application. Instead of learning in the conventional style, the course of civil engineering profession was taught by using the online jigsaw classroom. The simple question was raised in the online class. The students were then assigned to work as a group searching for information needed to answer the question. The conclusion of the group was taken place using the jigsaw classroom by sharing their information individually obtained from the interne .
