In the course of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, the 5th year industrial pharmacy students have to learn the manufacturing process of biologic drugs. These are produced in living cells by recombinant DNA technology. However, the students cannot understand how to construct the master cell banks that are used as the resources to produce the drugs. Video and laboratory
are implemented concomitantly with lecture-based learning to enhance the student performance.
